Role Description

We are currently looking for a dedicated Project Manager to manage the workflow of multiple projects.

An effective Project Manager candidate must have Engineering and/or Automation work experience with Industrial Electrical systems or Process Control Systems. Experience in both hands-on field roles and in project management or leadership positions will be a strong asset.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Leading automation and engineering teams to execute projects efficiently.
  • Working with department managers to appropriately resource projects.
  • Communicating regularly with client stakeholders and building trusting client relationships.
  • Coordinating client site visits and commissioning activities.
  • Prioritizing tasks in the project workflow to meet deadlines.
  • Managing all aspects of cost, schedule and scope of work on projects.
  • Diligently implementing change management.
  • Ensuring the team follows all required procedures and optimizing workflows where possible.
  • Participating in business development activities

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • PMP or similar certification.
  • Engineering degree or technical diploma in an electrical, controls and automation or IT related field.

Skills and Experience

  • Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Experience with cloud-based hosting platforms and version control tools.
  • Risk management skills to assess technical strategies and security controls.
  • Technical Understanding of:
    • Process Control Software Development Lifecycle
    • Industrial Electrical Systems
    • Automation Systems

  • Strong organizational and project management abilities with a focus on delivering projects on time and within budget.
