Role Description

We are currently looking for a dedicated Project Manager to manage the workflow of multiple projects.

An effective Project Manager candidate must have Engineering and/or Automation work experience with Industrial Electrical systems or Process Control Systems. Experience in both hands-on field roles and in project management or leadership positions will be a strong asset.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Leading automation and engineering teams to execute projects efficiently.
Working with department managers to appropriately resource projects.
Communicating regularly with client stakeholders and building trusting client relationships.
Coordinating client site visits and commissioning activities.
Prioritizing tasks in the project workflow to meet deadlines.
Managing all aspects of cost, schedule and scope of work on projects.
Diligently implementing change management.
Ensuring the team follows all required procedures and optimizing workflows where possible.
Participating in business development activities

Qualifications

Qualifications

PMP or similar certification.
Engineering degree or technical diploma in an electrical, controls and automation or IT related field.

Skills and Experience

Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills.
Strong organizational, time management, and verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
Experience with cloud-based hosting platforms and version control tools.
Risk management skills to assess technical strategies and security controls.
Technical Understanding of:
- Process Control Software Development Lifecycle
- Industrial Electrical Systems
- Automation Systems

Skills and Traits:

Strong analytical skills and a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
Strong organizational and project management abilities with a focus on delivering projects on time and within budget.
Effective written and verbal communication skills (English) and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Desire to take on new challenges and uncover practical solutions to technical problems.
