Dry Flow

Decades of experience in electrical and mechanical engineering and customized software for PLC control systems have prompted Comco to develop a unique, reliable, and easy to use scale system. The WeighFlex DF is a weight based-flow control and monitoring system.  The system fulfils a need in many industries for weighing and controlling dry materials in process flow in an efficient manner.

By utilizing a patented flexure design and specialized software, the flow across the WeighFlex chute produces a scalable signal that provides accurate inline weighing. The WeighFlex DF combines a solid mechanical foundation with customized software and a touchscreen operation interface.

The system features sophisticated signal filtering that reduces mill or plant vibration interference and increases accuracy.  The WeighFlex DF is designed specifically for a tough plant environment. After initial calibration and setup, the mechanical operation and software engineering keep the equipment running with little human interference, providing the product flow and/or weight measurements of your product 24/7.

The WeighFlex DF works with pulses, cereals, legumes, nuts, plastic pellets, feed pellets, or basically any dry material that will flow.  Analog and digital input/outputs are standard to connect to your plant’s central PLC system.

Because space and especially height is often limited in facilities, we have designed the WeighFlex to fit into small areas in your process.  Standard Models with capacities between 2 and 120 tonnes per hour are offered to service different industries and applications.
